Egyptian House Originator…
Deep and soulful grooves with solid bass, phat beats riding on sweet synths that blend the boundaries between progressive, tech and sweet old house music. That’s the sound of Hady Tarek, widely respected as a versatile and hard-working DJ and a consummate producer. He is one of the main originators of the Egyptian dance music scene, and one of the nicest guys in the global club industry to boot.
Hady launched his DJ career in 2002, when he began arranging his favourite tunes in mix sessions that became very popular among his friends and extended social networks. Due to the popularity of his mixes, he started hosting small parties, where he was enthusiastically received for his track selection skills.
It was an inevitable progression onto promoting bigger parties, and introducing his music and his favourite international artists to the Egyptian public. Hard work and dedication paid off, and Hady experienced some amazing venues and gigs, from large music festivals to intimate club nights, sharing the decks with internationally respected artists such as Aly & Fila, Nick Warren, Mathew Dekay, James Lavelle, John Creamer and Rachael Starr.
Since then his career has taken him all across Egypt and the region, where he has played all the popular beach and club spots in destinations like Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh, Agamy, Hurghada and Beirut as well as making regular guest appearances on local radio stations such as Nile FM, the biggest FM station in the country, together with online outlets such as Proton and Frisky. He is a monthly resident at the awesome Cairo Jazz Club, and a frequent guest at Space in Sharm El Sheikh.
On the studio front, Hady’s numerous originals and remixes for labels like FSOE/Armada, Glamour Punk and Mjoy have gained support from artists like Andy Moor, John 00 Flemming, Moussa Clarke, Hernan Cerbello and many more.
Riding on the success of his recent releases, and touring constantly around the region, Hady is still busy forging ahead on his nightlife journey, and delivering many distinctive and memorable musical experiences along the way.
