Born and raised in North Wales, Paul caught the DJing bug back in the year of Kubrick – 2001 – when he first got his hands on a pair of hallowed Technic 1210’s. Practicing day and night, and securing his first residencies, it wasn’t long before he became a consummate party starter. Initially inspired by Funky House, his love of club music kept growing, until he eventually tried his hand at making his own beats in the studio. Paul has developed his own twist on deep tech house, drawing much inspiration from the sounds of his early DJing days. Expect tech style drum loops and sizzling hi-hats, with plenty of funk touches and badass basslines.
After taking a break from music to travel the world, Paul is back with a bang. With some big releases under his belt on record labels all over the globe including the likes of Essencia Records and Stanny Abram’s Abracadabra, Paul’s productions have been enjoying solid support from A-List DJs such as Umek and Roger Sanchez. Back home, Paul is a member of “Strictly Underground”, a collective of DJ’s and Producers from North Wales and the surrounding areas, who have joined forces to create their own brand. The crew are spinning at big events such as The Parklife Weekender, Wakestock and Creamfields, and have built up a loyal fanbase of likeminded house-heads.
